Embark on a creative journey with our 11 weekly art classes and activities, catering to artists of all ages and skill levels. Discover the joy of artistic expression through a wide range of classes, from beginner-friendly drawing and painting to dance and creative writing. Whether you’re seeking a therapeutic art for wellbeing session or a free class for the family to do together, we have something for everyone.
Most of our classes are drop in and open to anyone, with fees ranging from free to $5-$10 per class with a concession card. Simply reserve a spot in the class by phoning or emailing ahead to ensure a place in these popular sessions.
Our commitment to fostering creativity extends beyond our regular class schedule. Outside opening hours, we hire our spaces for arts-related activities and events, as well as community meetings. Current regular activities include Life Drawing on Tuesday evenings, African Drum and Dance on Wednesday evenings, and a Writers’ Group on Sunday mornings.
Unleash your inner artist and explore the world of art with Linwood Arts’ diverse and affordable classes and activities.
Please note that we don’t offer any classes that are suitable to bring children under 6 years old. Some classes are suitable for children aged 6-13 but they must be accompanied by a caregiver (except the free kids classes which do not require this). Please check the specific class you’re interested in before bringing children.
Information about each class will be on this page from late-January 2025. Bookings will also be open from late-January. You will be able to book for classes up to 8 weeks ahead.
