  • April is Drawing Skills for Watercolour Painting with Jenny Lee

Where do you start when you paint a watercolour? It depends on what you want to paint but it’s helpful to do simple sketches first to help with the layout, proportions and focal points. It’s different from a finished pencil drawing because it stays there in the background and you don’t want too much of it to show.

Simple sketches to prepare for watercolour painting. This can lead you into our watercolour painting classes in May and June as part of Arts and Crafts for 55+ or you can do this block as a standalone.

We will cover both wet-felting and needle-felting, starting with making a piece of wet-felted fabric and then making a bowl or bag with lots of colour and texture.
