We have a special treat: two 10-week courses in Academic Drawing to choose from – one for beginners and one intermediate/advanced class.
These classes are taught by Adam Schaapveld, who is a recent graduate of the prestigious Florence Academy of Art.
Beginners: Wednesdays from 10.30am-12noon from 16 October – 18 December.
Cost $35 in total for all 10 weeks.
Intermediate/Advanced: Thursdays 10.30am-12noon from 17 October – 19 December.
Cost is $35 in total for all 10 weeks.
All materials provided – no need to bring anything with you.

Beginners: The class will work on the fundamentals of drawing with a focus on building confidence to work from life. You will start with simple, structured exercises to help you see and draw more accurately, then move on to drawing from a live model. The course will help you develop key skills
like capturing proportions, light, and form.
Intermediate/Advanced: This intermediate/advanced level class is for artists who want to sharpen their life drawing skills and begin to work with colour. You’ll focus on capturing form, light, and colour temperature, while exploring techniques like trois crayon. With hands-on projects and practical guidance, this course will help you take your drawing to the next level. Perfect for those looking to build on their experience and try new approaches.
